Although I discovered the organization rather late in my collegiate career, it has been a great resource for the time I have been a member.
Service & Volunteerism
Through Delta Kappa Epsilon, I have been involved in many volunteer projects as well as events that have benefitted charitable organizations. We have a special connection with the Texas Ramps Project, a organization that builds ramps for people and families that cannot afford to build it themselves. This connection is from one of our Alumni, Chase Treadway, who was paralyzed during the founding of our chapter. Chase has since set up a charitable organization called Chase Your Dreams Foundation which tries to prove to disabled children that being disabled does not hinder them from accomplishing their dreams. We have held many events to help sponsor this organization including four that I have personally run.
